Tour itinerary:

Day 1

On arrival at the Seronera Airstrip, our driver will pick you up to start your adventure in the famous Serengeti National Park, also known as "The Endless Plain”. This park is well-known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the “Big Five”; lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo.

Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to around 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles that join the wildebeests’ trek for fresh grazing. Listen to the exotic sounds of over 6 million hooves pounding the open plains of Serengeti - just like how you imagined African wildlife to be.

After a long day of safari, you will drive to your accommodation for evening leisure and overnight at Matawi/serengeti wild camp.

Day 2

After breakfast, we'll continue with the game drive until lunchtime. After lunch, we'll head to Ngorongoro for an overnight stay. On the way, we can experience the Maasai traditional life and experience a few of these cultural people's lives in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You can opt to visit the famous Olduvai George (cradle of mankind). Dinner and your overnight stay are at Ngorongoro safari lodge/wild camp

Day 3

After breakfast, we head to the Ngorongoro Crater. We will descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world's most densely crowded African wildlife areas. It is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.

Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a wide variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephant. Another big drawcard to this picturesque national park is its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopards, which sometimes require a trained eye to spot. over night at  Ngare lodge.

Day 4

Drive to Tarangire National Park which is famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and having the largest concentration of elephants in the country. It provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. We will do a game drive through the park, depending on the reported sightings of animals (mostly predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they are harder to spot). Herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, etc. are plenty to see throughout the park.

You will leave the park and return to Arusha Airport or kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Zanzibar

Yes, most visitors to Tanzania require a visa. You can obtain a visa in advance from a Tanzanian embassy or consulate, or you can get a visa on arrival at the airport or border entry points. It's recommended to check the visa requirements and application process beforehand to ensure a smooth entry into the country.

The duration of your safari depends on your interests and the specific areas you wish to visit. Many people opt for a 4- to 7-day safari, which allows for a good wildlife experience in multiple parks. However, it's also possible to extend your safari and combine it with other attractions, like the beaches of Zanzibar or cultural visits.

Essential items to pack for a Tanzania safari include lightweight and breathable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, a camera, and any necessary medications. It's also advisable to pack layers for cooler mornings and evenings, as well as a waterproof jacket in case of rain.

Tanzania is generally considered safe for tourists, including safari-goers. However, it's always advisable to exercise caution and follow the guidance of your tour operator or guide. Be aware of your surroundings, listen to instructions, and take necessary precautions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

The best time for a safari in Tanzania depends on what you want to see and experience. The dry season from June to October is popular as wildlife congregates around water sources. The wildebeest migration usually takes place from December to July. However, different parks have different peak seasons, so it's advisable to research specific regions and their seasonal patterns.

Tanzania is known for its diverse wildlife. On a safari, you can expect to see animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos (in a few select areas), hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of antelope species. Birdlife is also abundant in Tanzania.

Tanzania offers a range of accommodations to suit different preferences and budgets. Options include luxury lodges, tented camps, mobile camps, and budget-friendly campsites. Some lodges and camps are located inside the national parks, while others are situated in private concessions adjacent to the parks.
